Overview

The Assessment module allows administrators and teachers to create and manage all types of assessments — from class tests and mid-term exams to projects and practicals. Once created and activated, an assessment becomes available for score entry directly inside the affected classroom by selecting the subject.

Assessment records feed into score entry, report cards, merit sheets, and academic reporting.

⚠️ Classes must be enrolled for the current term before assessments can be created. If not yet done, enroll classes first.

💡 Tip: Set up all assessments at the start of the term before score entry begins. This ensures grading calculations, report cards, and merit sheets are generated correctly and consistently across all classes.

💡 Tip: Use the Edit Window to control exactly when teachers can enter or modify scores, and Lock Assessment once the entry period is closed to protect the integrity of recorded scores.
